Normally, we match our concealer to our foundation and skin tone. However, on holiday for the Christmas break, we mistakenly packed our normal solid concealer (Barbara Daly make-up for Tesco) but in a shade lighter than usual – and found it far more effective at brightening the festively over-burdened under-eye area as the lighter tone seemed to neutralise the dark circles. You can always use a little bronzing powder on a big brush swept lightly on top and over the face to even out tones.
