Complexion perfection: Choose the right concealer

* Pick yellow-based shades of concealer, foundation and powder. Concealer should be one shade lighter than your skin tone. If it looks very ashy, it's too light. If it looks very yellow, it's too dark.

* To lighten dark circles, apply concealer under the eye, up to the lashline, and on the innermost corner of the eye using a concealer brush. Smooth and blend by gently patting with your fingers. (For extra dark circles, start with pink- or peach-toned corrector, then layer on concealer.)

* Applying concealer on the spot next to their inner corners will open your eyes up for a fresh, bright look.

* For crease-free wear, apply loose powder in a pale-yellow shade, or white if you're fair, over concealer using an eye blender brush or mini powder puff. Then apply powder in the right shade for your skintone over your face with a general powder puff or brush.
