Diets and healthy weight: When you think you’re full, stop eating

When you’ve eaten enough, your stomach sends a signal to say: ‘I’m satisfied. That’s enough’. It’s generally felt in the solar plexus, the area below the ribcage above the stomach. The more you pay attention to it, the more obvious it becomes. And as soon as you become aware of it, stop eating immediately, no matter how much food is left on your plate. In fact, deliberately leave food on your plate, even if it’s just a chip, to send a new message to your unconscious mind to say that you’re changing.
