Fitness and exercise: Don't forget: exercise for memory

According to Yale University in the US, exercise is crucial to improving memory function. A test done on differing ages of mice showed their ability to remember where an object was hidden improved after the mice used exercise wheels and toys. The middle and older age groups showing greatest success when they were stimulated mentally and physically. The results show, say the researchers, that exercising the brain and the body – started at any point in life – may help to prevent or reduce age-related mental decline.
